Summary of the Website:This website has many different games. There are games for every subject. It is not only an academic website, it has many different sections. You can make postcards, and there are printables. There are different subject areas; there is language arts, math, social studies and science. There is an area for puzzles, virtual worlds, games, an arcade area, a TV area, and even a download section. There is a holiday section fro every holiday for holiday-themed games. There is even a book shelf section with different stories! It is very kid friendly, it is very colorful and easy to use. There is a mobile site for people to use on their cell phones. There a a search so if you are looking for something specific you can search it.
Summary of the Game: Squigly is hiding in the apples, The student needs to click on the ordinal number that corresponds with where Squigly the worm is hiding. There are four choices for answers, and from those answers the student needs to find the correct answer. There is no point system, and the ordinal numbers go up to ten.
Evaluation of the Game: This game was fun. It really helped with learning ordinal numbers. A lot of students have trouble with ordinal numbers so this games is good practice.
Color: The colors were bright and kid friendly. The apples were red and Squigly the worm was green and happy!
Repetition: The same number of apple appears in every question. There are always four choices to choose from.

Summary of the Website: This Website focuses on vocabulary. This website has Foreign lanuage games, so it can be used for extra help. On the left-hand side of the website the games are divided into categories. There are analogy, antonym, compound word, context, contraction, English Language, Foreign Language, Hig Pig, homophone, idiom, Latin Learning, Literature, Oxymoron, Parts of speech, phonics, prefix, root, SAT, spelling, suffix, syllable, synonym, typing, and word play games. On the home page the most popular games are presented. At the top there is a moving scroll of English Vocabulary Games. There is also a blog section where they blog about different subjects.
Summary of the Game: The student is given two words, then they need to decide whether they are antonyms or synonyms. The student needs to decide whether the words are alike or different. There are no trick questions and there are always two choices.
Evaluation of the Game: This game was very educational but it wasn't very fun. It was more of an assessment than a game
Color: The colors were bright and kid friendly, the background had the website's logo.
Repetition: There were always two words and when a student got the answer correct it would either say "All right" or make a chiming noise.

Game: Typing of the Ghosts
Level: grades 5-8
Summary of the Website: This website has different sections for every subject. The different sections are: Social Studies, Logic, Language Arts, Sports, Science, Arcade, and Puzzles. On the home page there is Google search bar. Also on the home page is the most popular online learning games. There are 224 games. It is really bright and kid friendly. It is more geared toward upper elementary/middle school grades.
Summary of the Game: As the game begins, ghosts appear, there are a few at time. The student needs to type the word or the number before the ghost disappears. The students are given points for every word the type correctly. The student is given three lives once they lose the three lives the game is over.
Evaluation of the Game: I thought this game was really fun. It not only helped spelling words but it helped with typing also.
Color: The colors of the game were dark and spooky, but the colors in the website are bright and cheerful.
Repetition: Ghosts with different words kept showing up. The background music kept repeating, as did the sound of thunder.

Visual Cues: As the student types the correct letters the letter disappears until the whole word is gone.
Mistakes: A chime goes off when the student gets the letter wrong but that's it.
